1. Introduction to the purpose, structure and model

The high-voltage line stain-resistant disc-shaped suspended porcelain insulator is suitable for industrial dust, chemical industry, saline-alkali, coastal and foggy areas. It is used for insulating and fixed conductors on high-voltage overhead transmission and distribution lines. It is generally assembled into insulator strings for power lines with different voltage levels and different dirty areas.
According to its umbrella structure, stain-resistant insulators are divided into three types: double-layer umbrella type, bell cover type, and straw hat type. The double-layer umbrella stain-resistant insulator has a large creepage distance, the umbrella shape is open, the skirt is smooth inside and outside without rims, the rate of dust accumulation is low, and the self-cleaning performance of wind and rain is good; the bell-covered stain-resistant insulator uses the different periods of moisture inside the umbrella and the suppression and discharge effect of the high edges under the umbrella, and has good anti-fouling performance; the straw hat-type stain-resistant insulator has a large disk diameter, and is generally placed on the top of the overhanging string, which has a good effect on preventing bird damage and penetrating icing.
