1. Overview of fuses
The fuse consists of a melt tube, a porcelain sleeve, a fastening flange, a horizontal pillar insulator and a terminal. The terminal caps and melt tubes at both ends are fixed in the porcelain sleeve by press-fitting, and then the porcelain sleeve is fixed on the rod-shaped pillar insulator with a solid flange.
The melt tube uses a high silicon oxide care as an arc extinguishing medium, and a small diameter metal wire is used as a fuse. When an overload current or a short-circuit current passes through the melt tube, the fuse immediately fuses, and the arc occurs in several narrow slots connected in parallel, and the metal steam in the arc It penetrates into quartz sand and is strongly free, quickly extinguishing the arc. Therefore, this fuse has good performance and a large breaking capacity.
High-voltage fuse is suitable for short circuit and overload protection between transmission lines and power transformers. It is the simplest electrical appliance to protect power equipment from damage.
High-voltage fuse is suitable for use at an altitude of 1,000 meters, with an ambient temperature not higher than +40℃ or -40℃. It is not suitable for places with combustion, explosion hazards, violent vibration, swing impact, and heavy pollution areas.

The fuse is an outdoor device and is suitable for AC 50Hz. The rated voltage is 35KV. The rated current is 0.5 and 2, 3, 5, 7.5 and 10A. It is suitable for protecting overload and short-circuit failures of 35KV voltage transformers and power lines outdoors.

5. Installation instructions
2. This fuse replaces the RW2-35 high-voltage fuse and XJ-35 current limiting resistor. Therefore, when installing, it is necessary to pay attention to when the data of the melt tube does not match the voltage and rated current of the circuit. It is not allowed to be connected to the circuit for use.
3. After the fuse tube is fused, the user can replace it by himself, disassemble the wiring cap, and replace the melt tube with the same specifications and performance requirements. The replacement procedures are as follows:
(1) First screw out the wiring cap screw at any end.
(2) Open the wiring cap and remove the compression spring and the fuse tube.
(3) Replace the new melt tube and add the compression spring to tighten the wiring cap screw.
